Conformer Formillian Combo
This is a matched set of hat making tools for custom hat makers designed in-house in consultation with custom hatmaker Mike Miller of the Northwest Hat Company in Eugene, OR.
The Conformer (larger tool) allows a custom hat maker to measure the size and shape of a client's head accurately. A light elastic band holds the sliding keys to the smallest dimension when not in use. Loosen the knobs and have a client slide the conformer into position on their head, then tighten the knobs to form a perfect representation of the client's head size and shape.
The Formillion (smaller tool) is used by placing inside the sized conformer and sliding the keys outward to match the key faces of the conformer. When the wing-nuts are tightened, the ridged keys may then be used to shape a custom hat.
Domestic (USA) insured shipping via FedEx priority overnight is included in the price.
These tools are printed using PLA. Polylactic Acid (PLA) is different than most thermoplastic polymers in that it is derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugar cane.
These tools are 3D printed to order and take from 1-2 weeks to deliver, depending on order volume.
